THE NEW NATIONAL SCHOOL TOUR        

 

Bringing a new and powerful message to students throughout America!
 
This inspirational nationwide school tour will reach students from grade school through high school, sometimes beyond. Young people around the country will get a first-hand experience with the Goaltimate message" scoring goals by incorporating the right life skills and strategies" in specially choreographed in-school sports demonstrations featuring some of the nation's top Goaltimate athletes. This fun and interactive program includes compelling messages that smart decisions, demonstrating good sportsmanship and taking action for successful goal setting.
 
By combining these challenging and inspirational messages with the ongoing experience of a new grassroots sport, this program meets two important needs in today's schools - it teaches character building while promoting physical fitness through a fun, new sport! Goaltimate is already in hundreds of elementary, middle and high schools throughout the country, including the West Point Military Academy. As an added feature of the program, each school will be awarded a professional Goaltimate kit.
 
But...we want to go one better! We don't just show up, put on a show and leave! Each teacher is provided with a goal-setting kit for each student. Students will be encouraged to set a goal the day of the tour. Various rewards are left with teachers for students reaching their goals. Teachers will monitor students' progress and submit outstanding performances to National Tour Management. Every year, fifteen students, one per tour market, will each be awarded a $3,000scholarship for "Setting their goal and hitting their target"!

of the best disc players in the world! People of all ages and both genders

enjoy this physically and mentally challenging new, non-contact sport.

Goaltimate combines the elements of Ultimate with key improvements to make the sport more fun to play, and more fun to watch - live or televised. It's the fastest, most competitive disc sport in the world.  Already, Goaltimate has Pro teams throughout the USA and the world and has surpassed all other disc sports in monetary prizes.  Now, Goaltimate is taking it a step further, and introducing this exciting sport to  schools throughout the USA!

 

Goaltimate challenges hand-eye coordination, perseverance and strategic thinking, making it a great sport for youth!  Goaltimate can be played in a league or a tournament.  Middle and high school students and teachers have responded enthusiastically to field tests by Goaltimate, supporting the efforts to make Goaltimate the next "soccer"!

 

This program turns our sponsors into heroes because it is designed to meet the needs of hundreds of school systems that have added  “character building”  to their curriculum. It accomplishes that by:
  • Teaching character building and good sportsmanship.

  • Encouraging kids to dream, and demonstrating the importance of setting goals to reach those dreams.

  • Offering a physical element that incorporates teamwork and strategic thinking to reach a specific goal while teaching the importance of physical activity.

  • Donating Goaltimate kits to each school included in the tour to provide continuous physical fitness and a new school sport!

  • Provides each classroom with “goal-setting” kits.

  • Provides each teacher with “rewards” for each student that reaches their goal(s).

  • Awards 15 middle or high school students, one per tour market, with a $3,000 scholarship for reaching the most unique or difficult goal; encouraging higher education and achievement.

National School Tour Timeline

  • Pending sponsorship confirmations, the tour is scheduled to begin in either Orlando, FL. or San Diego, CA. in February 2004. Based on sponsorship level, your company may have options in tour routing.

 

  • The in-school portion of this tour will take place during the months of February, March, April, September, October and November of 2004. When not in schools the tour bus and the tour team will be visiting a pre-determined number of sponsor-related events.

  • School Administrators and Educators

  • Parent and Teacher Organization volunteers

The 2004 school tour will visit a minimum of 150 schools in 15 cities including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston , Atlanta, Washington DC, Detroit, Dallas, San Francisco, Seattle,  Denver, San Diego, Orlando and Tampa
