St. Anthony's Triathlon, America's 2nd largest Olympic distance triathlon

 

 St. Anthony's Triathlon is well-known as one of the most prestigious triathlons in the world, kicking off the triathlon season in North American on the last Sunday in April each year. Now in it's 25th year attracts over 4,500 individual and relay team participants!

Triathlon is one of the fastest growing sports in the world, and the extensive coverage of Triathlon starting with the Sydney Summer Olympics has raised awareness and excitement of the sport, making it one that both media and sponsors love! This entire event will be backed by local, regional and national  media, with additional partnerships created locally. The race hosts one of the most prestigious competitions for elite athletes in the world.  Athletes from around the globe will compete for a prize purse of $50,000.

The weekend competition kicks off on Saturday with the Meek & Mighty Triathlon, a fun-filled mini-triathlon designed to challenge up to 500 tweens and teens (as well as the novice adult triathlete) that participate.

The Sports & Fitness Expo is filled with vendors exhibiting the latest in everything from triathlon apparel, bicycles, and health services to running shoes, watches and high tech products. The expo is a selling show and attracts a crowd of nearly 15,000 during the two day event.

                    

St. Anthony's Triathlon Weekend includes:

  • St. Anthony's Triathlon for amateurs from more than 40 states
